Danfu Lau

Mr. Danfu Lau was the founder of PINKI design brand, and one of China Times News Figures in 2009. He is known as the “Space magician”, and was also honored with “Chinese Designer with Most Business Value” and “Award of Contribution in Interior Design” by China National Interior Decoration Association at its 25th founding anniversary in 2013. He initiated the theory system of Neo-Sensualism • Emotional Aesthetics, becoming the first Chinese designer on “Asian News Maker”. He is also a registered senior designer at IARI (International Accreditation and Registration Institute), and was chosen at The United Nations 70+ Chinese Contemporary Art & Originality Design Exhibition (New York). He is also the vice chairman at Global Creative Design Competition’s Executive Committee, and one of the eleven expert tank members in the capital of international design (Shenzhen). He was the first person to represent Chinese designers at CIID and presented at Asian Interior Design Institute Association Annual Meeting & International Interior Design Workshop in Seoul, South Korea as well as the first one to win the Award of Asian Interior Design Paper at CIID. He was awarded with gold, silver and bronze prizes at Asia-Pacific Interior Design Awards, Platinum Award of IHFO China and Oversea Hotels, Platinum Award of the Best Creative Design in 2013, Award of Special Contribution at 2015 CWDA 1st International Window Display Contest, Golden Prize of 2015 Macao “Golden Lotus” International Design Invitational Tournament, Golden Prize of Business Space at 2016 Taiwan TAKAO Interior Design Awards, Silver Prize of APDC Celebrating•Creativity 15/16 Asia-Pacific Interior Design Awards for Elite, and Silver Prize of 2016 France INNODESIGN PRIZE. He has invested and supported the government’s urbanization project “Demo Base of China Urban Living Environment New Theory (First in China)” in 2009. He has travelled to more than 20 countries and regions as a visiting scholar, and his works have covered more than 120 organizational and personal prizes globally as well as in Asia-Pacific region.
