论坛背景/ Background  

“创新设计引领制造业升级”是中国经济转型的时代诉求，国家为此制定了创新驱动发展战略。“中国制造”正在突破“世界加工厂”的旧模式，将以创新设计为驱动力，开启中国创造乃至中国智造的新篇章。深刻认识创新设计的价值，不断提升创新设计能力，引导创新设计与中国制造的交融必将对中国制造的未来起到重要作用。

China has been making tremendous efforts to achieve economic restructuring and transformation in the current era, with more attention given to innovative design that would lead to industrial advancement, which motivates the country’s adoption of an innovation-driven development strategy. The old model, marked by ‘Made in China,’ in which China is playing a role as ‘the world processing plant,’ is deemed to be reshaped as we are taking the advantage of innovative design to achieve a new era of ‘Created in China.’

We have realized that in order to reshape the image of the ‘Made in China’ concept it is indispensable to have a comprehensive understanding of innovative design, improving its capabilities as well as enhancing the collaboration between innovative design and manufacture.

1. 论坛简介/ Introduction

中国的珠三角地区是“中国制造”的重地，现已形成了门类齐全的产业布局。国务院颁发《中国制造2025》指出，推进智造是主攻方向。为此，广东省佛山市乐从镇人民政府与中央美术学院城市设计学院展开深度的合作，以探索一条“创新设计引领中国制造”的新型发展道路。

The Pearl River Delta Region is known as the powerhouse of ‘Made in China’ and has established a wide range of industrial layouts. The State Council has issued an admonition for ‘Made in China in 2025’ and has advised that innovative production is the main direction for industrial development. Therefore, the People’s Government of Lecong Town in Foshan City, Guangdong Province and the Central Academy of Fine Arts City Design School have agreed to make joint efforts to be involved in a more profound cooperation in order to explore a new direction of using innovative design to lead China’s industrial upgrading.

中央美术学院城市设计学院以相关问题为导向,协同广东省佛山中德工业服务区管理委员会联合主办，并由中央美术学院城市设计与创新研究院、广东省佛山市顺德区经济和科技促进局、广东省佛山市顺德区乐从镇人民政府及广东省佛山市顺德区龙江镇人民政府联合承办，将于2017年11月24日在广东省佛山市乐从镇佛山市图书馆一楼汇报厅举办首届“2017天鹤奖·国际创新设计与中国制造高峰论坛”。本次论坛以“创新设计引领中国制造”为主题，对设计创新介入和引领中国制造；依托创新设计建设特色小镇；教育资源与产业对接；构建“研学产”协同创新设计体制与机制等主题展开深入研讨。

The Central Academy of Fine Arts City Design School and Management Committee of Foshan Sino-German Industrial Services Zone, cooperated with Central Academy of Fine Arts City Design and Innovation School, the Economic and Technological Promotion Bureau of Shunde District, Foshan City,Guangdong Province, the people's government of Lecong town，Shunde district, Foshan city, Guangdong province and the people's government of Longjiang town，Shunde district, Foshan city, Guangdong province will jointly hold the first 2017 Designnova · International Innovative Design & China’s Manufacturing Forum in the library of Foshan City in Lecong Town, Foshan City, Guangdong Province on the 24th of November, 2017. 

The theme of the forum is ‘How Innovative Design Can Direct Industrial Advancement,’ on which in-depth discussions will be held, together with several other related topics such as ‘The Establishment of Heritage and Culturally-Oriented Towns,’ ‘Skilled Labor Training Intended for Manufacturing,’ and ‘The Establishment of Systematic Reciprocity Between Research, Training, and Production,’ among many others.
